Aisle & Arbor is a wedding planning and floral design studio based at 171 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle the personal information you share with us when you enquire, book a service, subscribe to our newsletter or simply browse this website.

We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. If anything here is unclear, you can contact us at any time and we will walk you through it in plain English.

What Information We Collect

We only collect what we genuinely need to plan your wedding or respond to your enquiry. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

• Your full name, partner's name and preferred names
• Email address, mobile number and postal address
• Wedding date, guest count, venue and rough budget range
• Any planning notes, mood boards or photos you send us
• Dietary, accessibility or cultural requirements you choose to share
• Basic website analytics such as pages viewed and approximate city

We do not collect government identifiers, financial account details or sensitive health information unless you specifically provide it and it is directly relevant to your event.

How We Use Your Information

The information we hold is used to deliver the services you have asked for. In practice that means:

• Responding to enquiries and preparing written proposals
• Coordinating venues and suppliers on your behalf
• Sending planning updates, timelines and run sheets
• Issuing invoices, receipts and payment reminders
• Occasional newsletters, only where you have opted in

We will never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not run behavioural advertising and we do not share your details with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Who We Share Data With

To deliver your wedding we sometimes need to share relevant details with the venues, photographers, florists, caterers or celebrants you have chosen. We only pass on the minimum required, and only after you have approved that supplier. We also use a small number of trusted software providers for email, invoicing and website analytics, all of whom are contractually required to keep your information secure. Where a provider stores data outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a standard comparable with Australian law.

How Long We Keep Information

Planning records are kept for seven years from the date of your event so we can answer future questions or meet accounting obligations. Newsletter subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe. Website analytics are retained in aggregated form for twenty-six months. After these periods, information is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

Your Rights and Our Contact Details

You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, withdraw marketing consent or request deletion at any time. We will respond within thirty days. If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please raise it with us first so we can resolve it, and you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
